The Blue Angels were airborne and ready to dazzle the crowd today when the fog came rolling in.

The Navy's premier flight demonstration team was set to fly for the Fleet Week Air Show from 3 to 4 p.m., but the elements made safety concerns a factor.

Thousands of spectators had packed the Marina Green for the annual show. Fleet Week events wrap up Monday before ships depart San Francisco Bay on Tuesday.
