Bicyclist busted for running red light

A bicyclist who ran a red light in San Francisco ended up in jail on Wednesday, police said.

Cops stopped the bicyclist as he rolled through the red light at Mission Street and Santa Rosa Avenue around 10:15 a.m.

The officers discovered the rider was on active parole. They searched him, found drugs and booked him at Ingleside Station, police said.

He was also cited for the red light violation.

“When operating a bicycle on the roadways, riders must obey all traffic laws,” police said.
