Are you ready for some squeezebox?

Sure, there are Monsters of Rock, Monsters of this or that, boldly blazing tour trails across the country.

But Monsters of ACCORDION?

Yes, indeed.

Seattle squeezeboxer Jason Webley blasts into Slim’s in The City on Dec. 18 with his unusual — and now annual — juggernaut.

It boasts pink-haired punkette Renee de la Prade and her edgy take on Celtic/Cajun, the Petrojvic Blasting Company — fresh from a tour of Serbia — with their own twisted vision of Balkan traditionals, and the even punkier New Yorker Corn Mo.

Webley, of course, will be headlining. But he hasn’t overlooked local accordionists — the Bay Area’s Duckmandu will be opening the show.

Tickets are available at www.slimstickets.com for what promises to be a frantic-keyed evening.
