Does Jennifer Aniston really have a new man, or are the tabloids playing matchmaker once again?
First we were assured by People magazine — the arbiter of all purely platonic celeb pairings — that the “Friends” star and actor-screenwriter Justin Theroux were just (wait for it) friends. And though X17 reported that the two dined out together, Jen’s rep pointed out that there were several others in attendance at the dinner.
But now People has reversed course, claiming that Jen and Justin have been dating for a few weeks — and that she’s already introduced him to pals like BFF Courteney Cox and Chelsea Handler (now those would be some pretty intimidating ladies to seek a thumbs-up from).
At a May 27 get-to-know-my-man get-together Jennifer reportedly threw, her pals “all had a great time and enjoyed Justin’s company,” says a source.
And the alleged new couple is “doing great,” the source enthuses. “He’s edgier than the guys Jen usually dates. She really likes him!”
And we’re sure this party wasn’t proof that Justin is indeed just one of Jen’s friends?
While it may be premature to issue an official new couple alert, Olivia Wilde and Bradley Cooper are “definitely hooking up,” a source informs Us magazine.
The “House” star and the “Hangover: Part 2” actor first met when she read for a part in his movie “Limitless” last year. Since she filed papers to end her marriage of eight years and he broke up with Renee Zellweger, the two have reportedly reconnected.
They got close at a May 23 “Hangover: Part 2” premiere party, where “Olivia acted jealous when other girls came up to him,” the source relays.
Ironically, however, two days earlier, when they left a “Saturday Night Live” party after Justin Timberlake’s hosting gig, it was because “she thought going with Bradley would make J.T. jealous,” says the source. (The “SexyBack” singer is rumored to have hooked up with Olivia, though they maintain they’re just friends.)
Well, that seems like an auspicious way to begin a relationship, doesn’t it?
And speaking of Justin Timberlake … while he’s mum on rumors that he had a fling with anyone named Olivia, he has quite a bit to say about a couple of his famous exes.
Though the 30-year-old “Social Network” star recently split with Jessica Biel, he declares to Vanity Fair magazine, “She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, OK?”
And what of his first love, one Britney Spears?
“I wish her the best — that goes without saying,” says the former ’N Sync heartthrob. “We haven’t spoken in nine or
Back when they were pop’s prom king and queen, Justin recalls, “we were two birds of the same feather — small-town kids, doing the same thing. But then you become adults, and the way you were as kids doesn’t make any sense. I won’t speak on her, but at least for me, I was a totally different person. I just don’t think we were normal; there was nothing normal about our existence. We spent way too much time being the biggest thing for teenyboppers.”
But they could still get back together someday, right? Right?
