  • No gal pals? Angelina Jolie admits that Brad Pitt is the only one she talks to.

Is the beautiful, intelligent, glamorous Angelina Jolie really friendless? The actress has revealed that she has no close pals with whom she confides. And come to think of it, other than a play date with Gwen Stefani and their kids, we don’t recall ever seeing her out and about with gal pals.

“Well, I have a few girlfriends,” the “Salt” star tells Marie Claire. “I just, I stay at home a lot. I don’t do a lot with them, and I’m very homebound.”

“I talk to my family. I talk to Brad. But I don’t know. I don’t have a lot of friends I talk to,” the Oscar winner admits. “He really is the only person I talk to.”

Er, that sounds a little unhealthy, Angie. Granted, it’s not like your pals can just pop over to France for lunch at your chateau. But maybe the next time you’re in L.A. you can invite some of the other PTA moms over for lunch? No? Not gonna happen? Fine, then.

Expansion Plan?

Even while pregnant, Jessica Simpson can’t escape scrutiny of her weight. A new report claims the first-time expecting mom has already gained so much baby weight — er, supplemented by guacamole weight — that she has hired a chef to help curb the rapid expansion of her curves.

A source tells In Touch that the singer-turned-fashion designer already has packed on about 30 pounds indulging in food cravings, and, “At this rate, she could wind up gaining 70 pounds before she gives birth.”

So the future Mrs. Eric Johnson is said to be taking steps to alter her eating habits for the better, even hiring a personal chef.

“She hired one to help her cut calories and make sure she’s eating the right foods,” a pal explains.

Hey, maintaining a nutritious diet during pregnancy is obviously a good thing. But we can’t help but wish that Jessica could have enjoyed a precious few months when she didn’t have to worry about counting calories!

Head Case?

Kristin Chenoweth says she regularly gets Botox injections in her face … but it’s for medical reasons, not out of vanity, really it is.

“When I was 35, I was having debilitating migraines about once a week,” the star of stage and screen tells “Prevention.” “I went to my doctor in New York, and she said she wanted to give me five shots of Botox across my eyebrows.”

Either the anti-aging injectable is truly a wonder drug … or celebs are really good at coming up with excuses.
