Re: “Occupy SF accused of Ferry Building thefts, filth

@Holy_Cow: I think he was talking about yesterdays story about the guy from SoCal who came here with a gun on his person? Then he threatend to come back with a loaded AK47....That would be considered dangerous.

Re: “San Francisco parklets swap parking spots for community space

I'm sorry but dont we have enough "real" parks in the city? Are people that lazy in this town that they cant make their way to one of them???? For example there is a parklet on 9th Ave at Irving....As you sit in it you can look at the entrance to Golden Gate Park a couple blocks away!!! Really people???? You want everyone to bike to work but you cant walk a block to the park with your coffe??

Re: “Ed Lee deal shields San Francisco police, fire from pension reform

@bill Jonson: I'm sure life in Mayberry is much easier than the big city Bill. I'm familar with the concept of a Volunteer Fire Department. Works great for small towns with a buch of guys who like to play dress up. As for he police ther , well, I'm sure the 2  officers in town are ready for the one car that comes racing thru.  Our Cops and Fire Fighters work hard everyday, and many dont get to enjoy their full retirement as many pass away shortly after. they leave. We recently lost some very brave man from the Fire Dept who risked their lives for a community that could care less.  How much money do people spend on Sporting Events?? You are willing to pay more for some ball player who gets paid for someting I, and many others, would do just for the love of it, but screw the people willing to risk their lives to protect and save you? People want to save money? Cut costs?  Then dont call 911, deal with stuff yourselves. See how long that lasts.
