Ban anarchists on two wheels from the troubled intersections. They should be forced on to less crowded streets. It is idiotic not to allow a right turn from Market St. to the freeway.
To whom it may concern,There is NOT a Grant Street in San Francisco. There is a Grant AVENUE
It will beinteresting to see what happens with San Francisco's "LittleDig" boondoggle, the Central Subway. Let's take a walk downmemory land. The Muniâs T 3rd Streetlight rail line, originally estimated to cost $648 million, ran more than $150million over budget and more than a year behind schedule. The rebuilding of the 4thStreet Bridge, part of the T 3rd Street route, was originally tocost $17 million with an 18 month construction time. The actual cost was over $36 million. The construction timewas three years.
It's time for these "green" companies to stand on their own feet rather than the feet of the taxpayers who do not use their products.
Given food stamps, free meals at schools, food banks, meals on wheels, etc, I don't believe that 24.441687% of San Francisco residents "go to bed hungry each night" as asserted in this oped. What the basis of the statement that 197,000 San Franciscans go to bed hungry?
@smanthaq: On what do you base your opinion of Elsbernd? He has been one of the few BOS members who is not a left wing radical and uses common sense. He can't be voted out. He is term limited out at the end of the year.
This stinks. The Mayor gives himself and the Supervisors a raise while asking the majority of city employees to give backs. The unions will insist on the same raise, and I don't blame them.
