Who gets the 10/25 cents per bag and what would the money be used for?If the money is used to clean the streets and sidewalks, I could support this fee. But I suspect no additional services will be provided.
@Duane: When I visited Munich recently, all the bikes had bells! No more terrified pedestrians jumping out of the way at the last second. It worked great.
@djconnel: djconnel, cars that slowly roll a right on a red light on an empty street could try that excuse, but they'll still have to pay the $460 ticket that arrives in the mail.Laws don't count if they apply to me, huh? Feel entitled much?
@Billy Kimble: I often see the same one fingered cyclist hand signals as I walk to work. Generally, the cyclist is upset that pedestrians are blocking his sidewalk or pedestrian path.True Billy, how dare I walk 4 miles a day and not ride a bike. I'm going to hell for sure.
