They poisoned our wonderful healthcare system and now they are intentionally poisoning our air with aluminum oxide. The sheeple trust their governments as the ignorant fools they are. Educate yourselves dummies ... research chemtrails on the internet and demand that the enviro wackos provide detailed explanations.
my neighbor's mother-in-law makes 69 USD every hour on the computer. She has been without work for 10 months but last month her paycheck was 19011 usd just working on the computer for a few hours. Read Full Report .... WWW.TEC30.COM
I totally got blazed off some chemtrails from my volcano. Anyway sad how much more SF is becoming like LA every day and in every way. The constant class arguments and divisions, terrible public transit, the liberal double standards, the insanely dumb broken schools next to unaffordable millionaire homes. It is sad. I loved this place. I don't even want to leave my house anymore with all the douchebags out and about.
I for one have lived through the whole process. I myself have three children and had them at a young age, I also had been working since I was 15 yrs. old. No one ever plans on becoming homeless and it does not matter how many children you have at what age. I was laid off my job which was supporting myself and children as I was a single mom. I had no problems with supporting myself and children yes I lived in a small place but it was mine and my kids. Up until they decided that my un employment was needed for other things I got screwed. I stayed in the homeless shelter and transitional housing. I busted my ass while staying in the shelter but got so frigging frustrated at how it all was being ran. It is a revolving door, and most of you are right, it is people using the system as their personal retirement plan. I think that a lot of rules need to be changed and also the criteria. Not only will it defer people from using the shelter as a revolving door but also save a lot of money for the people that are hard working and really do need the help! For some of you making such lovely comments above me, until you have been in the situation you should really keep your ignorant mouths shut. It's only people like you who have made these wonderful chooses when you vote or pass some kind of law that puts us all in situations where people are flocking for help. San Francisco is a beautiful place to live and has I think real great opportunities so of course everyone is going to want a piece of that. We all make it so damn easy for people to get help that people now rely on it, and become dependent on it. Shoot I wish I can seat at the park smoke weed and watch my kids play, while not worrying about paying bills or rent and getting fed three meals a day. Shoot a lot of people are now complaining about how veterans and their families get all these benefits that generations to come will receive benefits, um yeah I didn't ask you to sign up to fight in a war and I sure as shit don't think I should be paying for your grandkids dental insurance or college fund after you pass so why the hell do I have to have my taxes mark down for that. I have a gun I can protect myself just fine!!!!!!!!!! My grandfather was a war hero, not once did he complain about anything he new what he was signing up for well shit back then they didn't even have a choose. Not once did he ever put his hand out asking for help from anyone. So there are a million things wrong with USA including ignorance. Please there are people that need that little help in life. Now if we can go into someone else's country and friggin rebuild it, then we should be able to fix all that is wrong in the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUST SAYING ( :
I am sick of breathing in the chemicals these planes are spraying. I have been watching this on naval satellites for years. The heavy spraying comes when they are collapsing our rainstorms out in international waters. They are forcing a manmade drought on us probably to make big money on Wall Street and to take over our food and water supply via Monsanto's drought resistant seed along with their aluminum resistant seed. We have the lab tests to show that one of the metals they are spraying on us is aluminum. It is killing everything. This is a war crime of huge proportions. The people spraying us and those covering it up in the media need to be in prison. Yesterday, during our third heavy spray day, I saw a toddler on the street hacking. When I pointed up to the sky to show the father the massive spraying happening in San Francisco, his face turned to horror. .... This is absolutely evil.
This is pure chemtrail activity, not a weather system
@ Erik Lane, thank you for sharing your story, and congratulations on your sobriety!
I'm sorry you have to see such hateful comments here from other people who hate homeless children.
The great irony about these haters refusing to support Mary Howe and the HYA is that, as your story proves, the HYA gets people off the streets.
These haters are angry that kids or on the streets, yet they bitterly oppose the services that will get kids off the streets.
Off the subject, but I noticed that the photo used with this article is credited "courtesy of Facebook"? Did someone named "Facebook" shoot the photo, or did the Examiner use the photo without the actual photographer's permission?
I lived in sf and was hooked on drugs , was in and out of jail. Mary Howe and the staff where saviors to me and many others. She went out of her way to help me get all of my legal battles in order, amongst many other things. Now I have been clean and sober for over 5 years, work full time and have beautiful kids and home and would never be where I was today without the help of Mary's center. They are doing great things and reach many lives. Just go and look at her wall of photos of those who's lives where lost. Without that place many will be left with no place to call "safe".
I bet a lot of the kids (minors under 18) in these shelters have parents who cannot afford to support them. If single adults are getting evicted from their apartments, how can anyone deal with supporting a child?
If you say just move out of the city to a cheaper place, then who is going to do all those low wage jobs (like food and janitor services) that support your lifestyle here in the city?
@ I wasnt here, you sound like a huge crybaby, and you obviously lack empathy. Feeling sorry for yourself and having no compassion; those are two hallmarks of being a sociopath.
Again you repeat the lie that homeless people victimize "normal people" such as yourself. I'm sure that's your perception, but if you ever took a minute to educate yourself by looking at actual crime statistics, you'd be aware that the homeless -like the mentally ill- are disproportionately the victims of crimes, not the perpetrators.
Homeless people are far and away the most vulnerable, most powerless members of our society, and all you can do is demonize them and shit on them.
You, in your hateful, judgmental smugness, say you refuse to call them homeless, and you instead insist on disparaging them as transients?
OK asshole, let's say you're 14 years old and your father has been fucking you since you were 12 and you just have to get the hell out of your family home because if you stay, you will kill yourself.
Where do you go if you're a kid like that? I guess that poor kid better not go anywhere near you, because you will describe him as a "transient."
You are correct in thinking I don't care about you, but you are dead wrong when you describe yourself as a normal person.
Normal people have compassion.
My favorite memories of the 'Stick were going to Giants games in the lean years of the early 80's. Just you and a few thousand of your closest friends, 90 degree days sitting in the first deck of an almost empty ballpark, listening to the clacking of the flagpoles, drinking $1.50 bottles of bud, watching a pathetic team that would always somehow do something amazing, even if it was just once.
Roberto, you're an idiot. Do you really think you're "helping" anyone? I'm sure you and helloworld have very different ideas about what "working" means in regards to "helping" - or "enabling" - the transient community. I refuse to call them homeless. Maybe some have been victims - is that an excuse to victimize others? If you say yes, then fuck you too. The last thing this City needs is more people turning their back while people are victimized WHATEVER the reason. Me? I'm beyond caring. After 25 years here I left. I left a rent-controlled apartment. This city is a hollow, pathetic shell of the place I moved to in the 80's, and nothing but a SERIES of major earthquakes will change that. The people suck, the government is pathetic, the cops are useless, and the "cool" people are just going through the motions. The magic is GONE. It's time to find it somewhere else. San Francisco is a great place but it is not the only livable place on Earth. Only a smug elitist would think otherwise.
This pollution is NOT from wood stoves - it's from vehicles.
This is what high density housing has done to the atmosphere and it will get a lot worse as more people and more cars come to the Bay Area.
You might also want to know that all those high density housing projects that have gone up all over the region were exempted from the California Environmental Quality Act. (CEQA) so the inevitable increase in pollution from all the additional traffic never had the opportunity to be brought up for discussion in the first place. In essence, it was a cover up before the fact.
Developers want to get rid of CEQA completely so they can build as big as they want where they want and the environmental damage be damned. In addition to increased traffic and air pollution, there're the upcoming problems of loss of water supply, increased load on sewage treatment, garbage disposal, etc.
Run away development is the equivalent of a cancer cell and it must be stopped ASAP.
Hey, let me ask you... do any of you people praising young drug addicts give a crap about us normal folks?
Just returning the favor. You give no respect you get none. The truth the world over. Even a place as f*cked up as here.
I saw more than 10 chemtrails today.
One of the Gray Lady's attendants when asked, "what was so good about Candlestick" said it has "Character." Candlestick is also Iconic, legendary, & Historic... Who would not want to play Football in a place like the Stick, if it had been renovated. The Yorks, that's who...
As many fat and homeless people miiiiigght connect - http://hub.jhu.edu/2013/12/17/vitamins-might-be-harmful and the answer is beyond your/their plate and what you think you'll put on it
and comfort is food but
a person can tell you how a home feels and looks like - how it makes you want to stay
the homeless too shy to tell you. are you freaking out too much to listen
a person can tell you how a home feels and looks like - how it makes you want to stay
maybe there is an aloof renters tax
maybe it's in san francisco - high price could shock this city
@ Uh yeah, I'm glad you left San Francisco. My home town already has plenty of people in it who lack compassion.
You say many of the homeless are "insane and dangerous"? Well that's an interesting perception, given that mentally ill people are disproportionately the VICTIMS, and not the perpetrators, of violent crimes.
Yes, there are many mentally ill people on the street. What's your solution? I guess you've never had a loved one wind up on the street due to a mental illness, so you can't relate, right?
In my previous post, I asked you what you'd done to help homeless people. I guess the answer is "nothing."
