Re: “‘Attila’ time travels at S.F. Opera

another Eurotrash production contrary to anything Verdi imagined. I'm surprised they don't replace the music with a rap score too.

Re: “Poet, author Maya Angelou dies at 86

I sure hope her son buries her with a fabulous hat - I love the pink one and she wore them so well - and those that wanted her books and poetry banned - probably were white far-righters with their bibles up there asses (like many of my relatives here in MS -- who I won't even eat a meal with -- they cook too much sugar food and use the nasty oils - no fresh salads, no avocadoes, no asparagus -- canned green beans opened up and salted and bacon greased and cooked for an hour -- and chicken breast -- holy cow the stuff is tougher than a shoe and again no flavor at all - again I loved Ms. Angelou's books and poetry and when I did an errand was so surprised the most of the blacks here in South MS had never read her or knew who she was -- what the hell do they teach in school now?? hiphop crappola?? and the frigging bible in the 'Christian' schools??

Re: “'Maestro of Light' Leo Villareal brings brilliant blaze to Bay Bridge

This is incredibly beautiful, and I doubt this is why lanes have been closed down.

It brings so much splendor to the bay.

It's been fun to watch people see the old guy in ¢€˜Burn Notice' used to do these weird movies way back."

Is this why lanes have been constantly closed down?

Re: “15 great holiday gifts for the tech enthusiast on your list

Those were all great ideas, Lauren, but I have one more suggestion. It's the Sling Adapter from DISH. A friend that I work with in my office at DISH gave me one last year, and I love it. It streams live TV and recordings from my Hopper DVR at home to my phone, and I can use it anywhere I get a good signal. I get a ton of use out of it anytime I get stuck waiting for more than a few minutes, but it is really great for killing time on my long bus ride to work.

Re: “‘Book of Mormon’ role of a lifetime for Grey Henson

Can't wait for the even newer hit show, "The Book of Islam." Now wouldn't that be the role of a lifetime for someone?

I guess the only religion that gets respect is the one we are scared of. Why is that?
