Re: “Supervisor Wiener seeks to continue city funding for HIV/AIDS services

Am from USA, am here to give my testimony about how i got my HIV disease and how I was flew from it quickly after having on trust on my spell doctor who cured me immediately. Since the year I married to the man I did love because my parents false me to marry him, I have not been enjoying my relationship and sex life with him, he do spend time on his work and don’t have time for me sometimes, he do sleep at his work and also do carry women’s because he has the money to spent but doesn’t spend it on me. So I was so jealous to the extent that I can’t even control my anger and I decided to start cheating on him with my ex-boyfriend, because my husband do not always be at home expect on weekends, I have sex with him without protection, after some months been in love with my ex-boyfriend I was so sick and I decided to go to test and I found that I was HIV positive I feel so sad and was ashamed because I did know how to open up to my husband I hate before, my ex-boyfriend denied me and when my husband found about what was going on he divorced me and I was ill for good 3years I went to many places for solutions but there was no solutions. So one day I was asking GOOGLE some questions on how I can get a cure and how I can get some medications which I will be taking to my own surprise they brought one email out named that this powerful man can cured HIV, I did believe about the cure before but I took the email and searched it on GOOGLE and I found many good testimonies about him, people have been giving more testimonies about him so i contacted him about my situation, he told me all the procedures which I will take, And I did before I knew what was happening he called me and told me to go for an HIV test which i did and when the result was out I was HIV negative. Thanks to drezomospellhome now as I am giving this testimony I am now fully settle down with my husband now and we both loved ourselves, I give this testimony for people around that was in my shoes so that they can also be cured like me, so if you also need a solution also you can email him at

Re: “At-risk SF youths embark on new beginnings

I want to know why the reporter in this thread did not take the time to research the facts on the people she wrote about. The person called "Alex Bergeron" comes from a very well educated family. From having two years in College to having a Master degree. This is one of many facts that need to be addressed in this report. IF Laura Dudnick is unwilling to search the facts she should not write the news

Re: “SFPUC: City meeting requested 10 percent water-use reduction

Worst is Rec & Park which is sitting on millions of gallons of water yet has reduced water usage by only 1% vs the residents 10%.

Glen Canyon Park trees are being watered with Hetch Hetchy water, yet sits on a stream that apparently cannot be tapped because a sewer line connects to the point of extraction to a proposed cistern at the ball field.

Glenegales Golf Course may go out of business because of water price hikes. There was a pond and a well on the property. San Francisco is awash in agricultural water. Why let things go brown when we have water to make city hall lawns, golf courses and other industrial uses green. We need to start capturing and recycling water on a major scale, not manufacture an alarmist situation that only punishes the people at the lower rungs of society.

Every drop of recycled water, or water from those wells we have been studying for 10 years replaces Hetch Hetchy water that we can sell to other communities. Why don't building codes require recycled or recaptured water for toilets? These are 1972 concepts.

Re: “Northern California reaches most severe drought status

The Peter Principle has placed all the incompetent at the top in control positions. Witness the Willie Brown Bridge, the Chinatown tunnel, the proposed Peripheral Tunnels, the SuperTrain (if a section must be built, why not LA to San Diego?)

Many of the citizens, on the other hand are quite willing to pitch in. SF residents have reduced water use by %10, yet the Rec & Park has reduced only 1%, but is sitting on millions of gallons of untapped water. Witness Glen Canyon Park where the people's choice of a cistern down at the ball field to collect water was thwarted because apparently a sewer line connects at the extraction point. So we can't build the cistern because we can't change the sewer, or, run a pipe around to the creek and connect at the new cute dam at the final open water point? We have become a nation of sorry excuses.

Now that EPA is forcing East Bay Cities to stop dumping polluted water into the Bay, why not a pipe, even submerged in the Bay to send water to the Pacheco Pass? Pump it over on cheap power cost and recover power at peak price when dropping down into the San Luis Reservoir. Finish or polish the water in the O'Neill forebay before releasing to the Central Valley. And by the way, cover the 400 mile aqueduct with floating thin film solar collectors. Much of the water is lost to evaporation. Do cotton fields really need snow melt?

Re: “Airbnb advocates voice praise for home sharing

Jason Grant Garza here ... wow, what about Prop M for Master Tenants in Rent Controlled Apartments in San Francisco ... you know proportional rent ... if a two bedroom is 1000.00 per month then it is 500.00 per bedroom per month. 500.00 divided by 30 days = $16.66 per day ... are they using the porportional rent calculation?
"They [Airbnb] did contact me," said De Meza in whose home -- $90 a night for a room-- the event was held. "Do you mind telling your story?" they asked Meza. Weisbrut -- $79 a night for a room in her Duboce Triangle rent controlled apartment-- came to the event after "people who work for them [Airbnb] called me," she said. "They're pretty organized."
"The common thread in all their stories was the short term rental service provided by Airbnb, which is illegal in San Francisco."
Hey your HONOR ... I was only selling POT even though it was illegal BECAUSE of the HIGH DEMAND and the "Wild West" tactics allowed by San Francisco. By the way AREN'T we still awaiting Airbnb to pay the TAXES? Oh that is RIGHT ... everyone is doing it and there is NO ENFORCEMENT ... so IT must be OK your HONOR. Personal Integrity ... NONE here. But it is ok since as TORTURE most people DO NOT believe we would do it ... that is BREAKING the law. My there is a high demand for Hookers ... maybe we should create an app for that ... you know it is a "SHARED ECONOMY."

Re: “Airbnb advocates voice praise for home sharing

It's just plain wrong when a rent controlled (owner subsidised) tenant makes more profit off a unit than the owner.

Re: “SF supervisors place $15 minimum wage on November ballot, drop housing balance measure

Liberals and progressives never see beyond their nose. Go read about the problems they are having in Seatac (a suburb of Seattle) since they raised their minimum wage to $15 an hour. The waiters and waitresses are actually making less money because people have stopped tipping.

Re: “Northern California reaches most severe drought status

We build pipelnes to move OIL from Alaska to Texas refineries on the Gulf Coast...why not build pipelines to move WATER (a more valuable resource) from areas of the country with an excess of water/precipitation to areas with a lack of water/precipitation? A project of that scale would boost employment in a significant way and provide a permanent solution to a problem that will only worsen with climate change. Key to understand: this isn't about a lack of water overall but a shortage of water in some areas versus others.

Re: “Airbnb advocates voice praise for home sharing

Guest, quit trolling. It is NOT legal for the tenant in a rent-controlled apartment to rent out their apartment, to anyone, for any amount of money. As for the landlord, if he or she wants to run a hotel, take the damned building off the market and open a hotel in its place. Why are people making this so complicated?

The word allegedly needs to be added to this story. The entire scenario sounds like BS. Likely another irresponsible pit bull owner trying desperately to portray themselves as a victim.

Re: “1 injured after driving into parked vehicle, crash blocked L-Taraval line

Link the L-Taraval up sloat blvd back to West Portal or out to Daly City BART through stonestown or lake merced / sunset blvd. and you would not have the back up but a loop system.

Re: “Airbnb advocates voice praise for home sharing

I wish I could have attended I've used AirBNB across the world and have be a guest more times than I can count and have hosted a handful of times (though not in SF) Tenants have it easy in SF and landlords have trouble paying high taxes when their rental income brings in $500 a month. And my rent subsidizes the other people in my building who pay $700 while I pay 3-4 times that, which is why market rates are continuing to sky-rocket.

Re: “Complex funded by former Redevelopment Agency opens with below-market-rate units

Should read mayor lee and supervisor jane kim unable to solve the issue of housing in SF, flock to a "show-case" redevelopment opening to pad their resume's on affordable housing development in SF.

Both have done nothing, and continue to do nothing long-term and large enough scope wise to really place a dent in the problem.

meanwhile market rate units are everywhere, ignoring the real plight of existing families. In NYC they had over 50,000 applicants for 1 below market rate unit. That's what we will soon be at without addressing the crux of the problem, which is infrastructural improvements and payment prior to development of housing.

Re: “Airbnb advocates voice praise for home sharing

If I don't feed the parking meter in front of my car, I get a $65 ticket. There's no financial gain to me for parking my car. Not feeding the meter is illegal. If my neighbor rents a room in their house for a few nights, that's illegal. They get some financial gain but they aren't penalized, they don't have to "feed the meter". No taxes, no permit fees, nothing. Where's the equity in this?

Is rstort frustrated because he/she has been demanding action from MTA for years on the commuter shuttles, or is this more BS Monday morning quarterbacking from someone with zero knowledge of public transit planning and operations?
