4.1-magnitude earthquake rattles Bay Area 

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake rattled San Francisco on Friday afternoon.

The temblor was recorded at 4:10 p.m., according to the United States Geological Survey. Its point of origin was 10 miles southeast of Alum Rock, a small community near San Jose.
