A repo man and a 15-year-old girl were targeted in separate shootings in The City early Tuesday morning, police said.
Neither was injured, police said.
The 15-year-old was in a car with three other males when a gunman, described as a black man in his early 20s, sprayed five shots at the vehicle from the corner of 6th and Howard streets, police said.
The girl and three males fled the vehicle when the shots were fired, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said. The suspect also fled and remains on the lam, he said.
No one was harmed by the 12:20 a.m. gun blasts, police said. A .45 semiautomatic was the weapon used, cops added.
In a separate incident less than four hours later, a miffed gunman whose vehicle was being repossessed fired several shots at a 25-year-old repo man, police said.
The vehicle being repossessed was a silver GMC Envoy, police said.
The repo man was not injured in the shooting, which occurred in the unit block of Brookdale Avenue, police said. The gunman was described as a black man in his early 20s. The suspect fled after the shooting, police said.
Cops are trying to track down the vehicle’s owner, Esparza said. It was not immediately known if the repo man was able to succeed at his job.
“If the vehicle was shot up, most likely it was taken [by police] into evidence,” Esparza said.
No arrests have been made in either shooting, police said.
Further information was not immediately available.
