Police looking for suspects in gray truck in Mission District shooting

San Francisco police are searching for two suspects in a charcoal gray truck in connection with a Mission District shooting Monday afternoon that left one man with life-threatening injuries.

Officers responding to the area of 25th and Hampshire streets at 2:18 p.m. on a report of a shooting found a 45-year-old man with gunshot wounds, police said.

The man was taken to the nearby San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries that were considered life-threatening.

Investigators are looking for a male and female suspect in a truck in connection with the shooting, which they say appears to have actually taken place at 23rd and Mission streets.

Police have released few details of what led to the shooting but said the victim’s cash and cellphone were taken.
