Man robbed while trying to use the bathroom in Holly Park

A man was robbed at knife-point Tuesday while he was trying to use a park bathroom, police said. The 25-year-old victim was inside the restroom at Holly Park about 3 p.m. when two teenage male suspects entered and demanded the victim’s cash. One of the thugs grabbed the victim around his neck and held a knife to it, police said. The victim then turned over his cash. The suspects reportedly fled in a silver SUV driven by a man in his 20s. The car was later pulled over by police and that man was arrested. The teens were nowhere to be seen. Read More

Man shot in the face in the Mission

A man miraculously survived a shooting in the Mission district on Friday after the bullet grazed his cheek, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.The 27-year-old victim was walking in the area of 22nd and Bartlet streets at about 6:18 p.m. when he encountered an acquaintance, Shyy said. The two started arguing for unknown reasons, and the so-called acquaintance pulled out a gun and fired.Luckily, the bullet just grazed the San Francisco resident’s cheek and he proceeded to flee the scene, and hid somewhere along the 1000 block of Valencia Street, Shyy said. Man hit in head with rock in SoMa brawl

This thug stoned his victim. A 61-year-old man was struck in the head with a rock in the South of Market area on Sunday, police  said. The victim was arguing with the suspect, who was only described as a man in his 40s, in the area of Fifth and Bryant streets at about 9:10 p.m. when the argument escalated into a fight, police said. The suspect punched the victim several times before grabbing a rock and hitting the  victim in the head, police said. The rock-wielding goon fled the scene on foot and no arrest has been made. A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault after he reportedly slammed a woman’s head into a parked car in the Tenderloin on Tuesday, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.Jesse Flores, a San Francisco resident, was reportedly hanging on the corner of Mason and Eddy streets at about 3 p.m. when he and the 48-year-old victim got into an argument. Man stabbed while walking dog in Duboce Park

A man’s early morning stroll through Duboce Park on Thursday with his dog, which was not on a leash, ended in a confrontation with a knife-wielding thug, police Officer Gordon Shyy said. About 1:30 a.m., the 38-year-old victim passed by a man who was standing by a bench, Shyy said. Even crooks  are trying to capitalize on this transit-first city.San Francisco resident Demitrius Ware, 35, was arrested on a Muni light rail vehicle Monday on suspicion of robbing two passengers on separate Muni lines, police Sgt. Dennis Toomer said.The first robbery occurred on a bus near Third Street and Evans Avenue at about 3:20 p.m., Toomer said. Ware allegedly grabbed a 20-year-old woman’s cellphone; when the victim resisted,  he punched her in the face, before hopping onto Muni’s T-Third line, with the phone in hand. Read More

Woman shot in leg in Bayview district

A 24-year-old woman was shot in the leg early Tuesday while sitting in a car in the Bayview neighborhood, police said.The woman was in the passenger seat of the car at the intersection of  San Bruno Avenue and Dwight Street at about 1:10 a.m. when an unknown person approached the vehicle and opened fire, police said.The victim was hit in the leg and taken to the hospital where she was treated for a non life-threatening injury.
