Two men have been arrested in connection with separate laptop robberies in San Francisco Tuesday, including a brazen heist at an Ocean Avenue café in which they allegedly threw a woman out of her seat before fleeing with her computer.
Police were called to the coffee shop in the 1700 block of Ocean Avenue about 1:50 p.m. and spoke to the 22-year-old victim, who was not injured during the robbery.

A Burlingame woman who woke up in her bed to a stalker hugging her earlier this year might rest easier knowing the nutty ex-boyfriend pleaded no contest to the creepy charges on Tuesday.
Jimmy Andres Rodas, 21, of San Bruno, pleaded to felony stalking and a misdemeanor count and faces as many as eight months in prison. He was ordered into domestic violence counseling and must have no contact with the victim for 10 years.
Prosecutors said Rodas went to the victim’s house uninvited multiple times even though she had ended the relationship in October.

A 48-year-old man was shot in a Bayview district park Tuesday following an apparent argument over drugs, police said.
The shooting was reported about 7:15 p.m. in a small park with a children’s playground at Palou Avenue and Phelps Street. It was not immediately clear whether anyone besides the suspect and victim were in the park at the time of the shooting.
The two argued about drugs, Officer Albie Esparza said, but investigators did not offer details about a possible motive.

A former U.S. Postal Service worker in San Carlos who stole thousands of pieces of mail for their credit cards was sentenced Tuesday to a year in County Jail and three years of probation, and he also was ordered to enter a drug rehabilitation program.
Romeo Maniulit Natan, 39, of San Bruno pleaded no contest in January to identity theft, commercial burglary and credit card fraud, all felonies, and faced up to three years in prison on the counts, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.

Complaints from residents and merchants in the Outer Mission district about double parking on their street reportedly led to a meth bust Sunday.
About 7:30 p.m., officers responding to the complaints in the 5200 block of Mission Street spotted an occupied vehicle blocking two driveways. A passenger in the car was on probation, allowing for a police search that allegedly uncovered methamphetamine.

A 15-year-old boy from Nevada County has been arrested on murder charges in connection with the fatal stabbing last week of 20-year-old Cameron Myers in San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood.
The boy, who is not being identified because he is a minor, was detained by police in Nevada County about 2 a.m. Sunday, San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said.
Police locally and in Nevada County remain tight-lipped about the investigation and what led to the arrest.

About 12:45 p.m., a man in his 50s reportedly walked up to a teller and demanded cash at the Citibank branch at the corner of Irving Street and Eighth Avenue. His hand was in his jacket pocket as if to imply that he had a gun, Officer Gordon Shyy said, but no weapon was seen.

Police are hunting for the unnecessarily vicious robber who pistol-whipped two Walgreens employees who had obeyed his orders inside their Bayview store Sunday.
A 25-year-old man who reportedly works as a customer greeter at the store at Third Street and Evans Avenue said he was attacked while closing shop about 7:45 p.m.
The man walked to the rear to punch in the code to the security office when he was confronted by a gun-toting thug who demanded his keys as well as the keys from a female coworker.

The parolee who allegedly shot at police at Gough and Ellis streets during the middle of the morning commute two years ago was ordered to stand trial Monday on attempted murder and assault and firearm charges.
Roselyndo Sicat, 40, was approached by plainclothes officers about 8 a.m. on June 29, 2011 as he was pulling out of a garage. When officers identified themselves, police said, he pulled out a handgun and fired at least one shot. The officers were not hit and returned fire, wounding Sicat.
Sicat attempted to drive off but crashed into a parked car.

The robbery was reported at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday in the 5200 block of Mission Street.
The victim had been walking in the crosswalk at Mt. Vernon Avenue when the suspect, who had been walking past him, reached out and ripped the metal chain and copper crucifix from his neck, according to police.

A thankless thug who asked for spare change at a Bayview gas station on Wednesday robbed a 69-year-old man who had agreed to give him money, police said.
The lout asked for cash as the victim got out of his car to pump gas at Third Street and Evans Avenue about 8:40 p.m.
“The victim agreed and pulled a $100 bill from his wallet to pay for the gas,” according to Bayview police.
The thug reportedly snatched the bill and pulled out a rusty handgun. He fled south on Phelps Street.

The “world’s greatest fisherman” has been pinched in a king-size crab scandal.
Dennis Sturgell, 60, whom the San Francisco Chronicle once dubbed the “world’s greatest fisherman” in a 2008 article, is facing charges of unlawful fishing in connection with an incident in San Francisco last fall in which he allegedly possessed more than 54,000 pounds of Dungeness crab.
On Thursday, Sturgell pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to return to court June 20, Assistant District Attorney Alex Bastian said.
