A man shot and killed by police yesterday in the Financial District after allegedly slashing a co-worker with a box cutter was identified as Pralith Pralourng, 32, of Oakland.
Pralourng was shot twice in the chest by an unidentified female police officer at Washington and Davis streets about 10:25 a.m. after he ran a few blocks south from his workplace at the TCHO chocolate factory on Pier 17 along The Embarcadero.
