Motorcycle crash cleared from Bay Bridge, all lanes open

A motorcycle that crashed on the Bay Bridge Thursday afternoon and blocked traffic for about an hour has been cleared from eastbound lanes, a California Highway Patrol officer said.The crash was reported at around 3:45 p.m. and blocked two eastbound middle lanes, CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, Bartlett said.It did not appear that another vehicle was a factor in the crash, Bartlett said. Highway 1 closed in both directions following potentially fatal crash

U.S. Highway 1 has been shut down in both directions tonight following a potentially fatal crash in Pescadero in unincorporated San Mateo County, a California Highway Patrol officer said.The coroner was en route at about 7:10 p.m. to the scene of the two-vehicle crash in response to one possible fatality, Officer Ralph Caggiano said.The crash was reported at about 6:50 p.m. at Rossi Road.According to early reports, two other vehicle occupants suffered major injuries and three suffered moderate injuries, Caggiano said.
