Redwood City

Naked runner: Numerous bystanders called in reports of a nude female in her late 20s running south on El Camino Real near the Target store at 9:05 a.m. Sept. 19. Police wrapped her in a blanket and transported her to San Mateo Medical Center.

Daly City

Victim threatened: Hours after a suspect was arrested on Sept. 22 for a savage beating, kidnapping and robbery in South City, the victim received a death threat by phone in her Seton Hospital room, where she was recovering from wounds from multiple kicks to her crotch and chunks of hair pulled from her head.

Burlingame

Short changed: A $300 box of change was reported stolen on the 1200 block of Cabrillo Avenue at 1:41 p.m. Sept. 26.

Unwelcome attention: A 53-year-old man has been ringing a woman’s doorbell and sexually harassing her on the 1900 block of Murchison Drive, she told police at 5:49 p.m. Sept. 26.

San Carlos

Warrant arrest: Officers arrested a 47-year-old Hayward man on a $10,000 warrant out of Alameda County at 1:19 p.m. Sept. 25. He was booked into the San Mateo County jail.

San Mateo

Nuts about squirrels: A man in an orange jacket threatened to kill a woman in Central Park because her dog chased the squirrels he was feeding at 7:48 a.m. Sept. 25.

San Bruno

Vetoed: Police stopped a man for putting up election signs at an unoccupied building on the 100 block of San Bruno Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Sept. 23.

Belmont

Loan fraud: A resident of Oak Knoll Drive came reported Sept. 27 that a fraudulent loan had been taken out under her husband’s name by an unknown identity thief.
