Daly City

Car boost: An auto burglary was reported at 4 p.m. Jan. 21 from the 1600 block of Edgeworth Avenue after an unknown suspect allegedly removed the catalytic converter from the exhaust system of the caller’s red Mazda. The theft occurred between 3:45 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Skimpy boost: An unknown man, reportedly wearing a black hoodie, allegedly broke into a blue Honda Civic at 2463 Geneva Ave. at 7:35 a.m. Jan. 29 by smashing the right passenger window. The items stolen were a tape player, an iPod and a white jacket, police said. Reports said the suspect was last seen running west on Geneva Avenue.

Collision: A bicyclist reportedly crashed into a Nissan Sentra driven by a woman at 410 Hickey Blvd. at 10:55 a.m. on Jan. 29. The bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries after complaining of pain in his left leg.

Party time: Petty theft was reported at 97 Clearview Drive on Jan. 29 at 12:23 p.m. The items — a black leather jacket, wallet, football jersey, credit cards and two football hats — were allegedly taken after a party at the house. No suspect description was provided.

San Mateo

Potty mouth: A man, described by callers as a white man wearing a dark green cap and wearing a blue jean jacket, was allegedly swearing at people without any provocations on Second Avenue at 3:08 p.m. Jan. 26. The man was also holding a red backpack and a red sweater, the callers stated.

Bad breakup? A woman called police to report that she was driving home when her ex-boyfriend reportedly tried to ram his white Chevy truck into her car on the block of 1300 Palos Verdes Drive at 3:51 p.m., Jan. 26.

Pushy: A woman reported that two male solicitors were acting very aggressive at her home on the block of 1200 Norton Street at 5:16 p.m., Jan. 26. She said one suspect tried to push his way into her house.
