These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.
Karted off: A trailer with two Quads and a Go Kart on board were stolen from Zeman Trailer at 1215 Gordon St. Quads were a blue Polaris and white Raptor.
Lighter load: A big-rig driver called at 11:04 p.m. Jan. 28 from the parking lot of Bank of America at 700 Jefferson Ave. to report that freight was taken while he was pumping gas on Blomquist Street.
Approximately 22 boxes, possibly containing computer parts, were taken. The driver was unable to advise what boxes specifically contained.
ER escapee: A 35-year-old female patient wearing a hospital gown, flannel pajama pants and a jacket fled in a 1990 green Toyota pickup from the emergency room at 3:29 p.m. Jan. 28 after being admitted. Staff, security and her boyfriend chased after her. She went back to her residence, but was advised to return to Chope Hospital because she had been determined to be a danger to herself.
Someone needs a nap: Someone was chest-bumped and followed into a school by the shouting husband of the person’s baby sitter on the 400 block of Santa Lucia Avenue before 9:58 a.m. on Jan. 29.
Up on the rooftop: A party called at 5:48 p.m. Jan. 30 from the 400 block of Peninsula Avenue, stating that some juveniles were spray-painting the roof of his garage. No suspect information was given.
Bad dad: A caller reported threats and child endangerment at 4:11 p.m. Jan. 29 from an apartment in the unit block of Third Avenue when a child was threatened, slapped and kicked by the father. The father was booked into the main jail.
