Pedestrian killed in North Beach collision

A pedestrian was struck and killed in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood Monday afternoon, according to police.

The victim was crossing at a crosswalk around 12:37 p.m. when they were struck, and pronounced dead at the scene around 12:45 p.m., according to Officer Giselle Linnane.

The driver remained at the scene.
