San Francisco has too many elections, and having officials run in low-turnout years wastes money that could be going to better causes.

Proposition D moves the elections of the city attorney and city treasurer to years in which there also are elections for mayor, district attorney and sheriff — elections with much higher turnouts. This combining of elections is projected to save San Francisco more than $4 million — money that can be allocated to more pressing issues.
Vote yes on Prop. D to consolidate elections and save The City money.
