Four North Georgia militia members, all in their 60s or 70s, were arrested by the FBI and charged with preparing to manufacture the deadly biological toxin ricin to use in attacks against government personnel and other Americans. At clandestine militia meetings, the suspects discussed obtaining toxins to target various federal agencies including the IRS. These meetings were attended by FBI informants who helped arrange sales of fake ricin substances, leading to the arrest of the suspects.
