DIM BULB: A British National Health Service surgeon mistakenly removed a healthy part of a patient’s brain during an operation that was not even necessary. The operation was supposed to be a brain tumor biopsy, but blood tests afterwards revealed that the tumor was harmless and could have been controlled with drugs.
