Haines Tours, a Michigan bus company, was shut down by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration after six passengers with mattresses and pillows were found riding in the luggage compartment of a bus on a 235-mile trip to Ohio.

The driver told police at a roadside inspection stop there weren’t enough seats for all the riders.

The company had been cited for the same offense in August.
