DIM BULB: A Portland, Ore., surgeon mistakenly operated on the left eye of a Washington state couple’s 4-year-old son during a procedure that was supposed to stop his right eye from wandering. Instead, now both of the boy’s eyes are wandering. The surgeon reportedly apologized to the parents for the mistake by saying, ‘Frankly, I lost sense of direction, and didn’t realize I had operated on the wrong eye until I was done.”
