A Los Angeles homeowner whose house was featured on the A&E reality show “Hoarders” had about 1,000 rats living in the home — and they are now on their way to a San Jose pet store, where they will be available for adoption. According to rescuers, the previous owner’s daughter had brought home a pregnant rat. Neighbors called “Hoarders” after the rats started tearing apart the house.
