WHAT: Gave a $480,000 taxpayer-funded Valentine's Day subsidy to catfish, turtle, baitfish, tilapia and crawfish farmers in Louisiana whose feed costs are at least a quarter of the cost of production.

WHY IT'S AN OUTRAGE: Farmers should pay for the costs of doing business without requiring the help of people who decided against becoming farmers themselves.
