WHAT: Easy conversion to real quick-shot weapon

WHO: Felons, the insane and anyone else banned from buying a gun in the United States has a new option: Just buy one of the new high-end toy airsoft rifles. Some popular propane-powered pellet guns are “readily convertible” to AR-15 semi-automatic weapons, according to the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

HOW: They can be altered so as to fire real bullets just by drilling one hole and popping in readily available AR-15 parts.

WHY IT’S OUTRAGEOUS: These recreational guns are sold legally throughout the U.S.
