Campos challenges Newsom to debate

Supervisor David Campos sent a letter to Mayor Gavin Newsom on Monday saying the mayor’s veto letter on the adopted sanctuary policy law “raises more questions than it answers, which is why I would like to extend a formal invitation for you and I to debate the matter publicly.”

Campos wrote: “I hope you accept this invitation.”

No word yet if Newsom will accept.

The letter was written in response to Newsom’s vetoing of Campos’ legislation that was adopted into law last Tuesday in an 8-3 vote, making the law veto-proof. The legislation changes The City’s sanctuary policy to prohibit city officials from reporting undocumented immigrant youth arrested on felonies to federal authorities for possible deportation. They could only be reported upon a conviction.

Newsom says the law is unenforceable, while Campos argues it is enforceable.

In the letter, Campos reiterates his argument that city officials “have no affirmative legal duty under federal law to expend limited local resources and funding on immigration enforcement.”

Campos said in the letter to Newsom that “you may not agree with the board; however, the current tenor of the argument is not helpful to the effective governance of the city, and we feel a public discussion is appropriate in light of recent comments that you will not enforce this amendment. The board and the people of San Francisco deserve to understand more fully why you intend to ignore this policy and the time honored democratic processes followed in enacting it.”

Mayor Newsom should not get involved with this Campos publicity stunt.

Why do we need a discussion about this issue? Don't we have enough numbers of illegals ("undocumented") living on the public expense and committing crimes? And we still have to cover them? Shame on you Mr.Campos!!!

The Central Question surrounding the "debate" if reconquista and fifth columnist Campos were honest is this:

"Should the taxes Americans pay for presumably OUR BENEFIT, continue to be used to finance Mexico's failure as a legitimate responsible nation"? That's about it.

What must be VERY clearly understood is that Campos is just one of thousands of ethnocentric reconquistas
who desire to extend their influence through numbers BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY ! PERIOD !

They WANT illegals to kill Americans. If they did not, they wouldn't support policies that statistically will and do lead to the deaths of Americans.

If ANY caucasian politician stood up and defended
only other Whites, he would be roundly denounced and drummed out of public office.

By put the same shameless politic in a melanin enriched coating with an hispanic name, and suddenly completely transparent ethnocentric goals are ok.

Let's face it: the current atmosphere as created by the Ususal Suspects, LULAC, MALDEF, NCLR, et al,
is one that is completely antithetical to American interests.

Please deport Campos! Newsom should not take the bait from this reconquista pest! And the police department, probation department, and sheriff's department should not enforce this patently illegal proposal. IGNORE (ILLEGAL) ALIEN ORDERS!

This is an issue of the law. Public debate on this issue is a PR gimmick on Campos' part.

The only subject that should be debated is whether Campos is legally here or not.
