As someone who works at Ft. Hood and a regular reader of the Examiner, I must say that Mr. Beeler is off the mark with this latest toon. Very poor taste sir.

What in the world is Joseph Blalock talking about? Must be looking at a different cartoon than I see.
I think Beeler expresses the grief that normal Americans feel immediately.
Later should come the righteous anger and the demand for swift retaliation. Also good to portray the small woman. One of the few who weren't disarmed and helpless was a woman who stopped the massacre.
