One killed, three injured in early morning Tenderloin shooting

One person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting in the Tenderloin neighborhood early Thursday morning, according to police.

The shooting was reported at about 1 a.m. in the area of Ellis and Jones streets.

A male victim, whose name is not yet being released by the Medical Examiner’s Office, died in the shooting. A 59-year-old man, 49-year-old woman and 53-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the leg and foot but are expected to survive, police said.

No arrests have been made in the shooting and police did not immediately release any information about a possible suspect or motive in the case.
