CBS is investigating a sexual harassment allegation against Jeremy Piven, the latest Hollywood figure caught up in a widening circle after dozens of women alleged they were sexually harassed or assaulted by fallen movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Actress and reality star Ariane Bellamar claimed in posts on Twitter Monday that the Emmy-winning “Entourage” star groped her on two occasions.
Bellamar reported that one encounter was in Piven’s trailer on the show’s set — he allegedly grabbed her breasts and butt — and the other was at the Playboy Mansion.
Meanwhile, Gilles Marini — who gained fame in 2008 as the love interest of sex-crazed Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) in “Sex and the City: The Movie” — also reports sexual misconduct, though he didn’t name names.
The French-born model and actor told People, “I was approached by extremely powerful people … I became a piece of meat for many executives in Hollywood.”
Finally, for now anyway, Netflix has changed its tune about “House of Cards.” On Tuesday, the company announced that production on the show’s final season has been stopped in the wake of Anthony Rapp’s accusation that Kevin Spacey accosted him decades ago.
