Two injured in unrelated North Beach and Potrero Hill shootings

Two people were injured in separate shootings early Sunday in North Beach and Potrero Hill, police said.

The first incident occurred at 2:18 a.m. at Montgomery and Vallejo streets near Broadway. According to police, two groups of people shot at each other for unknown reasons.

A man was hit in the leg, police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said. The victim, a 19-year-old from the city of Richmond, was hospitalized and is reportedly in stable condition.

About 3 a.m., a male victim was shot at Missouri Street and Turner Terrace, police said. He was listed as being in stable condition.

There had been no arrests as of Sunday night.
