A 64-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after an assault in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood
early Friday morning, police said.
The victim was punched by a man in his mid- to late twenties around 4:20 a.m. near the intersection of Haight and Shrader streets, less than two blocks from Golden Gate Park, according to police.
As of Friday afternoon, police had no information that the victim’s medical status had changed.
