Man stabbed in SF motel room encounter

Police are seeking four people connected to a stabbing early Sunday morning at a motel in San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood that left a 30-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

Around 3:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the Amazon Motel at 5060 Mission St., police said.

Officers learned that the victim and a 28-year-old woman agreed to check into a motel room together. As the pair was in the room, a vehicle containing three male suspects pulled up outside the motel room.

The man and the woman then got into an argument, which resulted in the victim being stabbed. The three male suspects somehow assisted the woman and all four fled in a vehicle, according to police.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

A detailed description of the suspects and the vehicle they fled in was not immediately available.
