Man stabbed in the Mission while doing laundry

A 19-year-old man is fighting for his life after being stabbed while he did his laundry in the Mission District on Monday night, police said.

The victim was stabbed near 15th and Valencia streets at 9:50 p.m. when he was busy with his laundry inside an apartment complex.

The suspect, described as a man in his 20s, entered the room, stabbed the victim and then fled in a vehicle.

The victim was transported to a hospital after the attack and is in life-threatening condition.

Police have not made an arrest in the case.
