A man was injured in a stabbing in the Tenderloin Monday evening, police said.
Police said the suspect, a man in his 20s, approached the 68-year-old victim and told him to buy something, although they did not specify what he was selling. The victim refused and the suspect became violent and pulled a knife on the victim on Eddie Street between Van Ness Avenue and Polk Street around 7 p.m, according to police.
The suspect stabbed the victim, dropped the knife and ran east on Eddie Street. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made, police said.
