Man injured, robbed of cash in Parkside home invasion

A man suffered injuries Friday morning after two suspects broke into his home in San Francisco’s Outer Parkside neighborhood demanding that he give them cash, police said today.

The incident was reported around 11:45 a.m. in the 3400 block of Wawona Street.

According to police, the 47-year-old victim was home when he heard footsteps inside. Two male suspects then entered the home and demanded money.

After the victim complied, the pair fled on foot.

The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

Officers were unable to locate the suspects and no arrests have been made. Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available.
