UPDATE: Man fatally shot in Visitacion Valley is ID’d


A man killed in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood Tuesday night has been identified as 20-year-old Reginald Gage Jr.

Gage, a San Francisco resident, was killed in a shooting reported at 10:28 p.m. in the 1600 block of Sunnydale Avenue.

Police have released few details on the shooting and no arrest has been reported.


A 20-year-old man was fatally shot in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Tuesday night, according to police.

The shooting was reported at 10:18 p.m. in the 1600 block of Sunnydale Avenue.

The victim’s name is not yet being released by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

No arrest had been made in the case as of this morning. No other details about the shooting were immediately available from police.
