A man was carjacked Wednesday morning at a busy intersection in San Francisco’s Mission District, police said.

The 47-year-old man was carjacked by a male suspect in the area of South Van Ness Avenue and 24th Street around 9:30 a.m., according to police.

The suspect drove away north on South Van Ness in the victim’s vehicle, with a second suspect following in a second vehicle, police said.

The stolen vehicle was later found, unoccupied, but no arrests have been reported.

Police did not indicate whether the suspects were armed but said the victim was not injured.
