Man attacked with machete near Glen Park Saturday

A 41-year-old man was attacked with a machete early Saturday morning near Glen Park, according to police.

The victim, a Hispanic man, was on the 4000 block of Mission Street, near the intersection of Bosworth Street, at around 1:55 a.m. when a man approached the victim and his friend.

The suspect, about 35 years old, then went to a white truck and returned with a machete and attacked the victim who received lacerations to his back and elbow.

The suspect then ran away, say police. No arrests have been made in the case.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of his none-life-threatening wounds.
