A San Francisco man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in the Fillmore, police announced Thursday.
Shadahia Mitchell, 22, was arrested last Wednesday on suspicion of attempted murder, burglary and other charges for allegedly shooting a 29-year-old man in a residence on Steiner Street between Eddy and Ellis streets.
Police said Mitchell allegedly opened fire at around 7:30 p.m. on June 15.
The victim was shot multiple times and taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. He has since been released.
Plainclothes officers arrested Mitchell on 17th Street between Van Ness Avenue and Capp Street on an arrest warrant at around 2 :25 p.m.
Mitchell was also arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked at County Jail.
Also on Thursday, police announced the arrest of 27-year-old Oakland resident Mario Robinson for allegedly robbed a series of 7-Eleven stores in San Francisco over the course of three weeks, beginning June 16.
Police described Robinson as “calmly walking into the stores during business hours and brandishing a handgun” during four armed robberies and a fifth attempted robbery. Police said he wore a black ski mask.
Robinson has since been booked on suspicion of numerous counts of robbery, second-degree burglary and attempted robbery.
