One person was injured Wednesday morning in a crash involving a Muni light-rail vehicle near AT&T Park, a Muni spokesman said.

A pickup truck and a T-Third Street train collided at Third and King streets, spokesman Paul Rose said. Police Officer Gordon Shyy said it appears the truck was turning left from King Street onto Third Street when the collision occurred.
A passenger on the train suffered minor injuries, Rose said. The driver of the pickup cooperated with police, Shyy said.

Both inbound and outbound T-Third and N-Judah service was disrupted as the train was cleared from the tracks, Rose said. Service resumed about 8:40 a.m., he said.

Bus shuttles were set up during the service disruption.

The extent of the damage to the train has not yet been determined, Rose said.
