N-Judah light-rail service will be will suspended when construction resumes.

Rail replacement work on Muni’s N-Judah line will not happen this weekend as planned, due to the rainy forecast.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, which operates Muni, intended to close down portions of Church and Duboce streets as well as Carl Street for the rail rehabilitation project, which will replace infrastructure that is more than 30 years old.

N-Judah service was set to be replaced by bus shuttles near the work sites. As a result of the rain, however, light-rail service will operate this weekend.

Work on the rail replacement project will resume the following weekend, weather permitting.
