Muni experienced signal problems for a brief period during the evening commute Thursday.
San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency spokesman Paul Rose said that between 6:15 and 6:26 p.m., service was delayed due to “intermittent failures of automatic train control system.”
Rose said about a half-hour later, “We’re back to normal service.”
He also said these problems were not related to faulty equipment issues that plagued the Monday morning commute.
It also appears the threatened “sickout” by Muni operators is not materializing. A flier circulated last month said the sickout would occur Tuesday through Friday.
Rose said no widespread action has taken place.
“We’re operating a normal schedule,” he said. “There appears to be no sickout.”
