The family of William, Gregory and Lavonne Bullis, three of the victims who died in the Sept. 9 explosion and fire in San Bruno, are asking for the media to not attend Friday’s memorial service and reception.

The memorial service for the three members of the Bullis family is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 1500 Easton Drive in Burlingame.

The reception will take place immediately afterward at the school’s gymnasium, located at 400 Murchison Drive in Millbrae.

Mills High School Principal Paul Belzer said he spoke to the family and said they are asking that the media not be allowed inside the church or the reception.
