Apple will close some of its retail stores for at least an hour Wednesday to coincide with a Steve Jobs memorial being held at the company headquarters in Cupertino, the Wall Street Journal is reporting. (AP file photo)

Apple will close some of its retail stores for at least an hour Wednesday to coincide with a Steve Jobs memorial being held at the company headquarters in Cupertino, the Wall Street Journal is reporting.
Apple co-founder Jobs died at his Palo Alto home on Oct. 5 from respiratory arrest that was a result of pancreatic cancer.
A private funeral was held for Jobs on Oct. 7 and there was a private memorial at Stanford University on Sunday.
