The Daly City police and fire departments were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of Gellert Boulevard on Friday, according to Matt Lucett from the Office of the Fire Chief. The accident was reported around 8:40 a.m.

First responders on the scene reported two vehicles in the garage area of the single family residence on Gellert Boulevard, Lucett said. One was parked in the resident’s driveway and one that had been driving on Gellert Boulevard.

Fire companies on the scene secured the two vehicles and noted the damage was limited to the residence’s garage door. There were no injuries, Lucett said. The incident is now being investigated by the Daly City Police Department.
